Winter is here!

It's been quite awhile since I've last blogged.  And I really have no good reason.  We've kept busy, but mostly we've (or at least I have) switched into hibernation mode.  We went down to Blue Earth over Thanksgiving weekend and attended my work Holiday party.  Other than that, we've just been mostly hanging out at home.  We did finally decide to just go ahead and get a real full-sized Christmas tree and just put the non-breakable decorations on the bottom - and to my surprise, Meredith has been very good - only repeatedly taking off one decoration (non-breakable).  We're gearing up for Christmas and certainly hunkering down at home this weekend with the over a foot of snow we've received.  But all is well and Meredith continues to learn more things and keeps surprising us.  Here are a few picks from the last month or so!

As you can see, Meri's hair is still red and getting quite curly. I've even cut her bangs a little once so far.  And she's also drooling like crazy, but no new teeth since mid-October.

Here we attached her to the dog.  Sometimes she walked Jada, sometimes Jada walked her.  It was quite funny.
Here the dog lodged herself in the chair and Meri was stuck, too!
Our family's Thanksgiving at my Gma Wickersham's.  Jon, I, Meri and our dog stayed with her since my mom's house is getting so major remodeling done.  Here Meri is hanging out with her cousin Brooks and Uncle Justin.
Here she is "sharing" some bananas with Brooks.
Meri now likes to put her empty Leggo box on her head, and it's pretty cute - so I had to take a pic!

Santa came to our Day Care on Wednesday and I arrived in the knick of time to get some good pics.  Meredith, who walks up to strangers and wants them to pick her up, was the first to get on Santa's lap.  She had to check him out first, but she liked him!

Goofing around today we put Meri in her daddy's boots.  She couldn't really walk, but it was cute!
