Halloween and since......

   Well, the McCue family is back to normal since Momma returned home from Thailand.  Just a bunch of laundry, errands, work and dad being on call for the past few weeks.  We all did have Halloween weekend off and dressed up little Miss Meri as a Ladybug and took her around the neighborhood.  She seemed to have fun, but didn't really appreciate the candy (though mom and dad certainly have....).  

     Jon was on call four days over last weekend and he was very busy and nearly never home.  So, myself and Meri were left to entertain ourselves.  We did pretty well, but by the end of the weekend mom was going a little stir crazy.  We've had a bit of a respite since and have all regained our sanity.  Here are some photos from the past few weeks....

My mom came up for a few nights and we canned some marinara sauce this year from our garden tomatoes and peppers!

About 20 pints, plus.  It's pretty good and we'll continue to improve on our recipe.

 Meri seemed to like it along with her first experience with spaghetti noodles...

 It's yummy, but a bit messy too!

   Mommy and Meri were having some fun - here is Meri sporting a Masquerade mask.  She was having fun wearing it, then giving it to me to wear.  She looks a bit scary - but it was cute, too!
